Show up when they’re ready to call.

Being on page one is worth nothing if the three businesses in the map above you get the call first — or if the phone asks a chatbot and it names someone else. That is the bit we work on.

SEO in Melbourne

Local search is a map pack fight, not a keyword fight.

When someone in Melbourne needs a tradesperson, a clinic or a service, they type it into their phone and ring one of the first three businesses on the map. They rarely scroll. That map result — not the blue links underneath it — is where local work is won and lost.

What has changed is that a fair share of them no longer type it into a search box at all. They ask their phone, and something answers with two or three names and no list to scroll. Same buyer, same job, but the shortlist is now written by a machine before your website ever gets a look in. Nobody knows what it is saying about them, because nobody has thought to ask.

Both fights are won with the same work, which is the good news. Google weighs how close you are to the searcher, how complete and active your business profile is, how many recent reviews you have, and whether your website genuinely covers the area they searched. The assistants read much the same things — the profile, the reviews, and whether there is a real page that answers the question properly. Most local businesses are losing on the last two, and both are fixable.

So that is where we spend your money. We finish the profile properly, build real pages for the suburbs you service, and turn on a system that asks every happy customer for a review. Then we report on calls and enquiries, because a ranking that does not ring the phone is not worth paying for.

A ranking is only the first box on the left. What decides whether it pays is everything to the right of it.

How the work runs

No mystery, and no monthly report you cannot read.

Five moves, in this order. You will know what is happening in each one, and what it produced.

Week 01

We check what is already being said

We ask Google, ChatGPT and the rest what someone in your area gets told when they look for your trade, and we send you the answers. Most owners have never seen this. It is free, and you can have it whether or not you hire us.

Month 01

We fix the profile first

Your Google Business Profile does most of the work in local search, and most are half-finished. Categories, services, photos, service areas — all sorted properly.

Month 01

We build the suburb pages

A real page for each area you actually service, with content worth reading — not the same paragraph with the suburb name swapped. This is also the part the AI assistants read, because nobody else has bothered to write it.

Month 02

We get the reviews moving

Reviews are the biggest lever in the map pack and the one nobody pulls. We automate the ask so it happens after every job. They are also what gets read when an assistant is deciding who to name.

Ongoing

We report in jobs

Calls, direction requests and enquiries — not impressions. You should be able to tell if it is working without a glossary.

What it costs

$990/mo

From, quoted fixed

From $990/mo for a single service area, rising with the number of suburbs and how competitive your trade is. Most local businesses see movement in the map pack inside three months. The check on what the assistants currently say about you is free and comes before any of it — ring us and we will run it.

Worth knowing first

Traffic on its own pays nobody’s mortgage.

Ranking well just means more enquiries arriving. If they land in the same scattered inboxes as before, you have bought yourself more admin rather than more work. Reviews lift the ranking and they are also what the AI assistants read when they decide who to name, so the same work pays twice. A customer system makes the extra demand worth having.

Where we stand

No wall of reviews. That is deliberate.

We opened in 2023

So rather than borrow logos or run up a dozen five-star reviews written in one voice on one afternoon, we keep the tearsheet book empty until there is named, counted work to put in it.

What we can prove today

A fixed price before a minute of work happens. Half in earnest, with the balance only once it is live and doing what the docket said. And a number you can ring right now to watch the system answer it.

The trade for going first

Early accounts get keen terms and the principal on the job. When the numbers land we key them, count them, and print them with your name on — if, and only if, you like what they say.

The whole argument, including the part that flatters us least

Before you ask

Questions we get asked.

Something not covered? Ring us on 0482 022 493 — you will get a person, not a queue.

How long does it take?

A website build runs two to four weeks from brief to live. Most single systems — missed-call recovery, quoting, review requests — are running inside a week. A full setup with CRM and follow-up takes three to four weeks. You get the dates in writing with the quote.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Monthly services are month to month with thirty days notice. Project work is quoted fixed before we start, so you know the number up front. If we underestimate something, that is our problem, not a variation on your invoice.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Often not. If your site loads quickly and reads well, we leave it alone and wire the systems into it instead. We will tell you honestly on the call — rebuilding a site that already works is a good way to spend your money on nothing.

Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?

For a hobby, you should. But a template's job is to look acceptable, and your site's job is to make you the obvious choice when someone is comparing three tabs — then hand that enquiry to something that follows up. That is positioning, writing and wiring, not drag-and-drop. It is also why we quote fixed and measure the site on booked work.

We already pay for a booking app, a form builder and an email tool. Why change?

Add up what the pile really costs: five or six subscriptions, none of which talk to each other, plus the hours someone spends re-typing between them every week. We replace it with one system that does the forms, bookings, follow-up and invoicing in the same place. One login, flat cost, owned by you — and you cancel the subscriptions one by one as it takes over.

Is this just software I could buy myself?

Some of the parts are, and you could. What you would be buying from us is the setup, the wiring between tools, the copy that gets replies, and someone who fixes it when it breaks. Most owners who try to assemble it themselves stall halfway and go back to doing it by hand.

What if I do not know what I need?

That is the normal starting point. Book the fifteen minutes and we will ask how enquiries reach you now and where they get stuck. You get a straight recommendation, including "you do not need us for this" if that is the honest answer.

Who owns everything if we part ways?

You do. The website, the domain, the customer data, the automations. We build things in your accounts wherever possible, and hand over logins on request. No hostage situations.
