Answer honestly, get a number.
The long version of "it depends", shortened. Two minutes, and the number shows before we ask who you are.
The questions this raises.
Is the number real, or does it change once you have my details?
It is real. The range comes from the same rate card on our pricing page, and the questions only move it by amounts we publish. After one fifteen-minute call we fix a number inside that range, in writing. If the call finds something the questions missed, we say so and re-quote before anything starts — we do not pad and we do not vary mid-build.
Why do I have to talk to someone at all?
Because above about two and a half thousand dollars, buying a system is a hiring decision, not a checkout. Fifteen minutes is genuinely all it takes when you have already answered these questions — you have done the boring half of the meeting.
What does a website actually cost in Melbourne?
Ours start at $3,500 for a small site that gets the call, and most land between $5,000 and $9,000 once booking, follow-up or a customer system is wired in behind it. Anything cheaper than about $2,000 is a template someone filled in; anything past $12,000 is usually custom software wearing a website's clothes.
Do I pay a monthly fee?
Only if there is something to run. Once a system is live it is $299/mo to keep it running, monitored and updated. Traffic work — search and ads — is its own monthly and month to month. Websites with nothing behind them have no monthly at all.
What if I am not in Melbourne?
We are Melbourne and Victoria. If you are outside that the scoper will tell you so rather than take your details — and it will hand you the five questions to ask whoever you hire instead.
