Questions we get asked every week
How fast can you get here for no power or a fault?
Same day for no power, exposed wiring or anything hot to touch, if you ring before 3pm. Next morning for anything that can safely wait.
Do you charge for a quote?
Quotes on switchboard upgrades, rewiring and installations are free and fixed in writing before we start. The call-out fee only applies once we are on site working.
Are you licensed?
Yes. We hold a current electrical licence with Energy Safe Victoria and carry A$20 million public liability. Our REC number is on every invoice.
Do I need a safety switch?
Victorian law requires a safety switch on every powered circuit in a home. If your switchboard does not have one, we will tell you when we quote and it is priced as its own line.
How long does a switchboard upgrade take?
Most homes are done in a day, including the short power outage while the board is swapped over. We book it with the distributor in advance so it is not a surprise.
Do you guarantee the work?
Twelve months on workmanship, plus the manufacturer's warranty on anything we supply.
