Questions we get asked every week
How fast can you get here for a leak?
Same day for an active leak in our service area if you ring before 2pm, next morning otherwise. We tarp first and quote the repair once it is dry enough to walk.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes on repairs, restorations and replacements are free and fixed in writing before we start. The only thing we charge for is attending an active leak, because that is a job, not a quote.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry A$20 million public liability and every job over A$16,000 is covered by domestic building insurance, as Victorian law requires.
How long does a restoration take?
Two to four days on an average single-storey home, weather permitting. We will not paint a wet roof, so a wet week moves the date.
What warranty do I get?
Ten years in writing on a restoration, seven years on a full replacement, and twelve months on a repair. The warranty is on paper, not a handshake.
Do you work on two-storey and steep roofs?
Yes. Two-storey and anything over 25 degrees needs scaffold or a harness system, which is quoted as a line on your quote rather than added afterwards.
