Questions we get asked every week
Do you charge for a quote?
Quotes on turf, planting and maintenance are free. A full design consultation with a concept plan is A$350, credited back against the job if you go ahead.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry A$20 million public liability, and any structural work such as retaining walls over one metre is documented to meet council and building code requirements.
How long does a landscape construction project take?
A courtyard or backyard project usually runs two to six weeks depending on scope and weather. We give you a start date and a rough finish date in writing before work begins.
Do I need a council permit?
Sometimes, for retaining walls over a metre, work near easements, or anything affecting drainage. We tell you at the quote stage if a permit applies and can lodge it on your behalf.
Do you guarantee the work?
Two years on hardscaping such as paving and retaining walls, twelve months on planting and turf establishment. That covers workmanship — we cannot guarantee how a garden grows, only that we built it properly.
Do you do ongoing maintenance or just the build?
Both. Most clients start with a maintenance visit every fortnight after the build, then move to monthly once the garden is established.
